About 8 miles, mainly whin dust track with some rougher track. Walk is mainly in wooded area often with River Almond alongside. Maybe some muddier areas if recent rain. Mainly flattish with a couple of staircases – 1 of 40 stairs. There are 2 easily negotiated fallen trees on the path.
When we did the recce we saw deer, a frog, Jays and a train on a viaduct.
