Overview

Starting at Staunton Harold (NT) Reservoir car park, this walk, follows a well trodden route around  the Calke Abbey estate, and part of the Staunton Harold estate. 

Footpaths are mostly maintained by the National Trust and the National Forest. 

The start of the walk involves walking across some fields which may be very muddy and there is some road walking.

Car parking for National Trust members is free (just remember your card)

Only one NT card per car.

Try and car share where possible with a National Trust member. 

There is a NT cafe at the car park, which should (weather dependent) be open when the walk finishes. 

The car park closes at 4pm in the winter.
