We are the Pembrokeshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a 9 Mile meandering loop walk through Canaston Woods, it takes in Captain Style, Molleston Back and Blackpole Mill, with the opportunity to shorten the walk to around 7 miles if required.
The ground conditions vary from the wide avenue of the multi user trail to gravel harden forestry tracks and tarmaced country lanes, with some softer ground in woodland paths, combined with green lanes with wide verges and shallow standing water in middle. The ramble offers the opportunity to ford brooks and use a stepping stones in the woods, see woodland flowers also appreciate how many paths are choked the vegetation (note we will only being observing the location of these).
Please note that this a popular carpark for dog walkers, consequently it will be a big advantage if you can car share this hopefully will avoid the need to use other carparks.
Please bring refreshments for a morning tea stop and lunch.
