Linear walk from Greenford to South Kenton via Horsenden Hill and Harrow-on-the Hill. The route includes some uneven ground or grass which might be muddy/slippery after rain. There are two long and quite steep ascents and descents for the two hills (some steps at Horsenden). Near the start of the walk we pass through Paradise Fields nature reserve and the fenced enclosure for the Ealing Beaver project to look for signs of the Beavers presence. Lunch stop will be at Harrow on the Hill, where we hope to arrange coffee/tea refreshments and access to toilets at St Mary's Church Hall - please bring packed lunch and cash for refreshments donation to their Spire restoration fund.
This is walk 7 of the West London Ramblers project to walk the Capital Ring. We will be following Section 9 of the official Capital Ring route including their alternative route at Horsenden via the Farm site. Toilets available at Horsenden Farm.
Greenford Station, meet in station hall. Central line or National Rail (trains from West Ealing)
