Overview

This 6-7 mile, semi rural walk in North Cardiff will be familiar to some. We start the walk in the lower reaches of Cefn Onn Park and ascend to the Rhymney Valley Ridgeway Path.

We head east before dropping down through Coed Cefn Onn and cross the stream Nant y Cwn.

We ascend back through Coed Caesau - whips wood back to the County Boundary Ridge with excellent views south over the Capital City.

We descend Craig Lisvane to return whence we came.
