10:00 start at the barrier at the top of Ferry Hill, Castor (turn left from A47 sign posted Castor and first left, park on the roadside beyond the barrier) map/grid ref: 235/TL134983. The walk is along lanes and by the side of the river Nene stopping at Alwalton for coffee. Continuing alongside the river, through woodlands to Nene Park stopping for lunch near the sailing club at Gunwade Lake. Returning via the new boardwalk to cross Milton Bridge.
