We are the Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Moderate 8.9mile/14.3 km walk with 984ft/300m ascent; about 3.5 to 4 hours walking.
Entirely within Zone 6.
Sunset: 15.55, light for walking to 16.30 hours.
Route: East out of town, cross A22, Tillingdown Farm, Worlds End, Marden Park Farm, cross Oxted line, into Woldingham, north to Woldingham Garden Village, Bug Hill, into Warlingham for lunch, pass church, on to King's Wood, SW through Sanderstead, follow footpaths onto Riddlesdown, descent to Kenley Station. Most of the ascent is pre lunch!
Lunch Stop: pubs in Warlingham, just short of 8 km into the walk: The Horseshoe or The White Lion. Or cafes: Coffee at 412 or Flavours Coffee Bar.
Meet at Caterham Station (Zone 6) at 10.55.
Travel: London Bridge 10.10/Norwood Junction 10.23/East Croydon 10.29/Purley 10.41 - Caterham & Tattenham Corner train - arr 10.54. Or Victoria 10.08/Clapham Junction 10.15/East Croydon 10.26/Purley 10.31 - Reigate train - changing at Purley to 10.41 Caterham train.
