Overview

From Chesham the route proceeds through undulating landscape of rolling hills, valleys and woodland. The halfway point is Little Missenden. The church (founded in the 10th Century) grounds provide seating space for a picnic lunch. Drinks available at The Red Lion pub. After lunch, we cross the busy A413 and head towards Bray’s Wood. Here we take a right turn towards Lott’s Wood, Ash Grove Plantation and Weedon Hill Wood. Crossing Copperkins Lane, we head back to Chesham via a small wood and field into Fuller’s Close. Some ups and downs but none steep or lengthy.
