Hall Farm at 146 metres is the highest point in Cambridgeshire and High Wood at 147 metres is the highest point in Essex.  There are some great views but because the whole area is a plateau there is not a lot of ascent and descent.

Parts of the walk can be muddy after heavy rain.

Please only park in the pub if staying for a post walk drink and use the overflow car park.  There is plenty of roadside parking in the area.
