A Christmas Stroll: Twyford to Reading.

Today’s Christmas themed walk will take us along part of the River Thames from Twyford into Reading. Starting at Twyford station, we’ll walk along the Old Bath Road to pass Charvil Country Park before turning off onto a footpath to take you past Charvil Water Meadows. This will also take us past the back of Loddon Park Farm and to the Thames Path, which we turn left onto to take us past Redgrave Pinset Rowing Lake and towards the Kennet and Avon Canal. Here, we turn left onto it to take us to Bill’s Reading, where we’ll finish the walk in time for the BW Christmas meal and awards that afternoon, of which the link can be found here.
