Overview

Well known walk on the edge of Ashdown Forest.

Park at Chuck Hatch the parking for Pooh Bridge.

We cross the bridge and walk on down towards Hartfield to join the Forest Way.

From the disused railway line we cross the fields towards Withyham, here we join the Weald Way. We walk through the  edge of Five Hundred Acre Wood, returning through  Posingford Wood to the start.

This walk is close to Harfield where there is a cafe and pub if you feel the need for refreshment after your walk.

Please bring a snack and a picnic for the walk.

Please text the leader if you plan to come on this walk.

This walk is taking place as part of the High Weald Walking Festival.
