Overview

The car park is on the NORTH side of Broad Lane, east of the Peasehill/Carbinswood Lane crossroads. It used to be rather small and overgrown; it is now CLEAR AND SUBSTANTIAL. The entrance is still very tight though so be careful.

We leave the car park heading north into Bucklebury Common to Peasehill then west and north past Vanners to Redhill Copse. We then turn back on ourselves heading to Sadgrove Farm and Miles’s Green and eventually to Upper Bucklebury.

We walk south down Little Lane and Long Grove and continue on the footpath to Colthrop Manor. We then turn east and eventually reach the edge of Midgham before finding our way past Wootens and returning to the Common and the car park.

There has been considerable tree clearance work on the common recently and this might still be going on when we walk.
