Meet at 9.45am for 10am start at top of the Stratford Park car park in Stroud
We will walk up to Whiteshill to the community store and then head towards Randwick. En route there may be the opportunity to see some reindeer. Crossing the green in Randwick where the Wap is held, we then climb steeply up to the Cotswold Way. We follow this through Far Westrip with excellent views to both left and right before branching off to climb Doverow Hill. Our route then follows the canal back to Stroud.
There will be a coffee stop and a lunch stop on Doverow Hill.
The walk is a little challenging in places with a steepish ascent.
After the rain we’ve had in recent weeks the route will be quite muddy at times. Walking poles will be useful in places.
