Free parking in Bacton Woods, please meet at the information board, as the parking has several areas. We will start with a short walk in the woods before we head towards the Dilham Canal, a popular spot for families in good weather. We will then walk towards Worstead mainly on good paths through lovely countryside. The walk will continue on parts of Honing Common, with newly repaired footpath boards, crossing the Dilham Canal. Lunch stop at Honing Church before we head back through fields for another short walk in Bacton Woods. There will be a short break for a snack/drink at around 11. No overgrown paths on this walk, other than the one mentioned.
Although this walk is dog friendly on a short lead only, there are two short sections of walking on a road that can be busy. One field path is narrow with overgrown grass, with a small ditch on the right which is hard to see. Extreme caution need. No toilet facilities.
