Circular Walk from Morfa Mawddach.

Initial meet point at Ceredigion County council car park at 0740 to share lifts to Machynlleth Plas Car park by 0820 . Then a 15 mins walk to Machynlleth station to get 0852 train to Morfa Mawddach arriving Morfa Mawddach at 0950. At 1000 walk starts going via Fegla Fawr & leaving the flat estuary to ascend steeply up past Arthog Falls. As the horizon widens & the gradient eases there will be outstanding views across the Mawddach estuary. Eventually the Ffordd Ddu will be reached followed by a descent back through woodland to the start point. ( there is the option to extend the walk across the scenic Barmouth viaduct to Barmouth.) Return train at 1454 from Barmouth, 1459 from Morfa M.
