Walk through Surrey Hills woodlands near Peaslake
With some long gentle ascents and good views towards the South Downs on a clear day. There are also three short but steep climbs. Boots are recommended especially after rain.
We will visit an ironage hill fort, turn West through Hurt Wood and descend to Peaslake before our final ascent back to the car park. There are often good mushrooms to learn about enroute.
There are no toilets or shops until Peaslake, towards the end of the the walk. Please bring a packed lunch.
