Clarkson Christmas Crawl (13.5 miles, Circular)

Starting outside the main hotel in which the majority of people are staying in Chipping Norton (the Premier Inn), we will walk out of the town and across pleasant farmland, woodland and countryside before arriving at Chadlington. From here we will walk through Jeremy Clarkson's yard and if we're lucky we may see a person or two from 'Clarkson's farm' TV show. We will then walk through some of Clarkson's farmland and eventually will arrive at his farm shop Diddly Squat. There will be an option to stop here for around an hour or so to grab a drink and perhaps a burger if we're early enough and to look around. The queues can be quite long to get into his farm shop so there may not be time for that. Those who do not wish to stop can carry on the rest of the 3 miles back to Chipping Norton (the route is fairly straightforward from the farmshop). In order to make the farmshop stop at a reasonable time (I'm hoping 2/2:30 so there's time to look around and get a burger if people wish) we will be walking a slightly quicker pace and we will stop for a picnic lunch at a suitable place beforehand but only for around 20-30 mins depending on the time and our progress. 

The wearing of a mask of Clarkson's face or other characters from 'Clarkson's farm' TV show at any point during the walk is greatly encouraged. Masks can be purchased cheaply online. I will certainly be getting mine! There may be an option at some point during the weekend to go to Clarkson's newly opened pub too which is not too far from Chipping Norton.
