We are the Cleveland Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Assistance dogs only. From the car park walk south along the road to join a forest track at GR573033. Follow the track east/south east to GR588025 to join a bridleway going north. At track/bridleway junction turn south east/east. At track junction head north west/north/west to join road at Ingleby Bank. Cross the road and follow forest track west/north/west to meet the B1257 Helmsley road - walk south with caution along grass verge back to car park. Muddy in places. Map: OL26.
There is now a charge for parking - 4 hours £3 and 8 hours £5. On 19 Jun the machines weren't working so parking was free. There is also some roadside parking just past (south) the car park.
