Walk details
Climbing up on Solsbury Hill,
We will see Bath city’s sights,
First a small trek to that hill,
On a canal to the station right
At the village of Bathampton,
Coming in close, we’ll start our climb,
Stretching, working every nerve,
With our heads down for our choice
At the top of our ascension,
We will take in views and hydration
With our hearts going boom boom boom
So we’ll say: “Grab our things we’ll head back down”.
For the next part of our hike,
The circuit of Bath will be our guide,
For a small climb to Lansdown Park,
Then the outskirts of Weston Park,
The Crescent will give a smile to our day,
Before arriving back in Bath centre,
With more sights like the Abbey,
Our hike moves soon to its close
Maybe a pub and drink to refresh us,
To reminisce on how our hike went,
Then with our hearts going boom boom boom,
Hey, we’ll say: “Grab our things then on the train back home”.
