Overview

Note: If you need to contact the walk leader, please text the number shown.  Please do not try to email as it will not reach me.

This walk starts from Keeper's pond heading west to Clydach village, picking up the old railway line towards the eastern end of the village and following it to Puck's Valley were we cross the river and road, ascending through Blackrock Limeworks to the Tom Thumb tump.  From there, we descend to cross the road and river a second time, passing the ironworks and returning to the start point.

If we're lucky, we should get good views of the autumn colours along the valley.

The route involves at least two fairly steep climbs, the last of which is often overgrown and requires you to pay attention to where you put your feet.
