A Coach Trip that provides a beautiful walk and an option for non-walkers to spend the day in the house and gardens.
The 7.5 mile walk takes in some beautiful areas on the Castle Howard estate. We'll pass several monuments and take in views of the Howardian Hills as we walk through a variety of landscapes, including woodland and farmland (there is a possibility of a 5mile walk if preferred). Walkers will have the opportunity to visit the courtyard area at the end of the walk. This area includes a cafe, farm shop and gift shop. There is also a garden centre next to where the coach parks.
The cost of the coach trip is £17.00 per person.
Join the coach at the Pods Scunthorpe for an 8.00 am departure. Please park in the Pods overflow car park.
Non walkers will also have to pay £17.50, as the entrance fee to the house and gardens. This payment will be made directly at the ticket office where house entry slots are given. The coach trip organisers are not managing this additional payment, or co-ordinating the house and gardens visit.
