We are the Biddulph Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

From Back Park Street Car Park we cross Mountbatten Way at the crossing, then enter Congleton Park via Park Road. From Congleton Park we cross the River Dane and then follow the Biddulph Valley Way (former railway line), the canal towpath, field paths, and Gosberryhole Lane to the summit of The Cloud, from which there should be extensive views over the Cheshire Plain if it is a clear day. We return by a slightly different route, with possible sightings of alpacas and wallabies.
Walkers from other groups are always welcome, as are non-members wanting to sample walking with our friendly group of ramblers. Non-members are allowed up to three sample walks with rambler groups before they would be expected to join the ramblers.
The Cafe in Congleton Park , known as Stock @ The Pavilion, will be open 10:30 am to 3:30 pm in case anyone wants to partake of coffee and cake after the walk.
Congleton Back Street Car Park. If coming down Canal Street turn R into Lawton Street then L into Bank Street and then R into Back Park Street. If coming down Mountbatten Way then L into Kinsey Street, L into Park Street and L into Back Park Street. The public toilets adjacent to the Jubilee Pavilion Cafe (Congleton Park) are open daily from 9am to 3:30pm and the walk will go past them.
