Join us for a walk through National trust woodland and farmland around the Chequers estate the grade 1 listed country home of the Prime Minister since 1921.

We will start at the car park near the top of Coombe hill following the Ridgeway national trail south downhill through farmland past the front of the estate. Heading round Beacon hill and into the village of Ellesborough past St Peter's and St Paul's Church before heading back to Coombe hill and climbing up to the Boer war memorial with fantastic views over the three hundreds of Aylesbury.

We will mostly be walking on well used footpaths with some hills and they will likely be muddy so please wear appropriate footwear and make sure to bring warm and waterproof clothing.

Meeting point Coombe hill car park (picnic area), please bear in mind the car park can get busy so please arrive with plenty of time to find a space, nearest postcode HP17 0UR Lodge hill.
