We are the Colchester Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Meet at St. Michael's Church, Church Rd, Copford. Park at the Church or Cricket ground close by, for approx. 2 mile walk, which takes about 1 hour 20 minutes.
On returning to the Church, there will be food/drink and mulled wine, followed by a short talk, carols, the odd poem and solo or duet with a band. A few traditional carols.
Janet is our new pianist, replacing the lovely Roger, whom we all miss! Service ends by 1.15pm.
If you wish to join in the food and drink, please let Julia know, so the ladies preparing it are aware of numbers. Also a donation is made to the Church, for the refreshments, £10 is recommended, or £5 minimum. Please give generously. Cash only is accepted.
