Overview

Starting from Selm Muir Wood, we follow  the 'Friends of Pentlands Path' through some farm fields.  We will then gently ascend Corston Hill and then walk back to Selm Muir Wood  and complete the circuit back to the small car parking area.  There are some lovely views of West Lothian from Corston Hill.  The first part of the walk through farm fields is extremely muddy but it is less than 1 km long.  There may be cattle in these fields.  Walking poles are  recommended for this part of the walk.  There are 3 stiles and one gate to climb over.
