Overview

This is a 6.5mile circular walk up and over Lairs, Cort-ma Law and Lecket Hill on the beautiful Campsies. We begin to climb immediately, and steeply, from the car park and follow a well worn, popular track to the summit of Cort-ma Law (531m). The steepness eases as we climb and the route becomes gently undulating but there are some marshy/boggy sections to navigate. This walk will be taken at a sensible pace and, weather permitting, we should be rewarded with spectacular views on our journey. From Cort-ma Law the ground is more level but increasingly wet in sections until we reach Lecket Hill (547m). From there we traverse down to the B822 (again with spectacular views) and a short, road walk, back to the cars.
