Following the wooded edge of Coundmoor Brook, well-known for snowdrops in February, we continue to Harnage passing some small pools and a reservoir, returning to the pretty village of Cound for lunch. The second half of the walk takes us to Venus Pool Nature Reserve, a haven for birdlife, and returns alongside Cound Brook and over the grade 2 listed Coundarbour Bridge. A couple of stiles and a short section likely to be very muddy.
Please car share where possible, due to limited space.
There will be a short drinks stop and a slightly longer lunch stop - so remember to bring a drink and a packed lunch.
This is a joint walk with Walsall Ramblers and Sandwell Ramblers.
