Overview

This is a steady uphill route, initially on a prepared path through vegetation and forestry and then onto rougher ground above the tree line. Some stretches of this can be boggy, particularly after rain. There will hopefully be some stunning views from the top across the estuary towards the Lake District. The downhill route is on prepared tracks and heads back down to woodland and back to the start.
