From Walkinghighlands:
"This dramatic coastal walk passes the impressive ruins of Slains Castle, the inspiration for Dracula, and reaching the Bullers of Buchan, where there is a massive blow hole with several natural arches."
This is a costal walk walk which follows towards ruins of Slains Castle and further north towards the Bullers of Buchan. The route will be about 9km there and back. Due to the fact that the path can be rough at places I would estimate the walk could take up to 5 hours. If the conditions don't allow, we might turn back earlier.
Please note that there are some narrow paths with large drops so I don't recommend joining if you have vertigo. If the paths are too wet we might need to cancel, I will observe the weather before the walk happens to confirm if we are going forward with the event.
Meeting point will be in Cruden Bay Public Car Park. The car park is of decent size, but I would suggest sharing cars to ensure we can find parking spaces since it might be busy.

We will continue to register attendance using the Ramblers App. If you are a Ramblers member, it would be helpful if you could either bring your membership card along, or download and login to the Ramblers app. If you are not a Ramblers member, I will ask for your name, postcode and e-mail at the start, for submission of the register to the Ramblers.
Important: If this is your fourth or more walk with AYW then you need to have Ramblers membership: http://www.ramblers.org.uk/become-a-member.aspx
