A leisurely walk around Victoria Dock and the Greenwich Peninsula pausing to admire the many pieces of contemporary art/sculpture along the Art Line. The walk includes a specially arranged 30 minute curator’s talk at the Now Gallery on their scheduled photographic exhibition ‘Human Stories: A Young South Africa’.
Great views from the pedestrian bridge across the dock, lots of steps but this section is optional/avoidable. Otherwise flat. Impressive views from cable car as we cross the river.
Lunch at the O2, with a multitude of cafes, restaurants, pubs and picnic spots. After lunch we complete the Art Line trail by following the Thames Path around the peninsula finishing at North Greenwich station, back near the O2.
Several drop-out points. Cable Car (£6).
