Overview

BOOKING REQUESTED

A leisurely/moderate walk.  Using the Wales Coastal Path to Greenfield Dock and on to the remains of Basingwerk Abbey then a steady ascent up the old railway line via the industrial archaeology of Greenfield Valley to Holywell.   A path through woodland takes us to a steeper (partially wooden stepped) ascent of 150 yards to the Wat's Dyke Way over fields and back to cars.  Risk assessment: Three tricky stiles and two main roads to cross, slippery after rain.
