Overview

A walk from Denstone just by the church and then over fields and tracks to Alton and back partly along the Churnet old railway track.

We will have a coffee stop and a lunch stop during the walk, so you might want to bring your own refreshments. You might consider wearing long trousers as the Saltersford Lane section is quite overgrown, despite the fact that during the recce recently, we trimmed back some of the vegetation.

Join us at the Denstone Farm Cafe opposite the start after the walk.
