Overview

Variety is the name of the game on this walk. Fabulous views, woodland, lakes, moors and high craggy tors. What more could you ask for?

We start in the pretty village of Low Bradfield and head out along the river and up to Strines Dam. Passing Boots Folly and Sugworth Edge we then cross moors onto a lovely stretch along Derwent Edge. We drop down to Strines Bridge and back along Dale Dike Reservoir.
It is a good length at 13 miles but it’s worth it.
