Winter walk linking two familiar areas, tarmac stretches and paths leading to open downland, tracks and fields and crossing the A27 to complete the circuit.
We walk from Woodingdean to Falmer and join the South Downs Way to return.
There are noisy stretches near the dual carriageway but that fades as we change direction.
Please bring a snack and a picnic.
We will stop for our morning break in the pretty village of Falmer, with the option of popping in to farm shop on the way.
