The walk will follow a route which will pass by many historical sites with one of the highlights being the tomb of Richard the 3rd which can be seen in Leicester Cathedral. The story of his discovery was a major headline in 2012 when his remains were found in a car park of the former Grey Friars Priory. The Guildhall is virtually next door in this historic part of Leicester. A brief description will be given by Phil on the important parts of the walk, to add to the interest in Leicester's history, and along the way throughout the walk.
