Overview

This is an 11-mile walk which commences from Doddington Village Hall, and explores the countryside mostly to the west of the village.

We begin by heading southerly and down to the wooded areas at King's Acre, then onwards to Payden Street Farm. Our route takes the group to Frinsted church via Broomy Lees Wood, where we will take our lunch stop, so don't forget your nibbles!

The return leg back to Doddington, takes us to Torry Hill Park, Bluetown and Higham.

The Chequers Inn is handy for those that wish some refreshment post walk.

Walk leader is Linda Barden
