Overview

This walk is a coach trip embarking from Lossie Green Car Park, Elgin at 8am, there will be a pick-up at Forres.

The South Loch Ness trail leaves the loch behind to climb up to a low moorland ridge which it follows towards Inverness. The final section heads alongside the River Ness to Bught Park with excellent views towards the Moray Firth and the Kessock Bridge.

There is a shorter walk option.

If you have any questions, please contact the walk leader Nick Bishop (07541 841 298). Please leave a message remembering to leave your name and contact telephone number.

Please Note: The ‘Estimated Finish Time’ shown below is when the walk is due to end, however the walk start time can vary due to road conditions on the day. On our return journey to Elgin, the coach has a stop-off for ‘refreshments’ therefore we cannot give a fix time for our return to Elgin.
