Overview

Starting from the car park at Downham, making our way up to the Hookcliffe plantation before we start the strenuous climb up Downham Moor (over 1000 feet in about 2 mile) taking in Robin Hoods well on route before we get to the trig point.

From the trig, we will follow Ogden Clough, along Black hill down to the Nick of Pendle and then down to Pendleton and a visit to the swan with two necks for refreshments (if it is still open). From Pendleton we will take the tracks and paths along to Mearley Hall to Worsaw End House, around Worsaw Hill back to Downham.
