Overview

This is a fairly energetic walk with several hills, but if the weather is good we should get great views.  From East Dean the route heads towards the sea above Birling Gap and then heads west over the equivalent of three Sisters before heading inland again towards Friston.  There is then a gradual climb along the old gallops before descending to Jevington.  After a picnic lunch there we will climb up the other side to Butt’s Brow and Willingdon Hill before a gradual descent back into East Dean.
Refreshments are available after the walk in East Dean, pub or café.
