Overview

A scenic, relatively low level walk over varied terrain and through some semi-natural ancient woodland and farmland, as well as some old stone quarries.

Plenty to see, even in winter. Deer have been spotted in the Ghyll and lots of pheasant, perhaps even a red squirrel!!

There are some boggy areas to negotiate and slight diversions where the path has eroded but all passable. Gaiters could be useful!
