This vaguely 'lollipop' shaped walk goes through three attractive villages and the countryside between them, encountering the River Cam several times along the way. Much of the walk is on quiet roads and dry paths (good for winter walking) with just a few stretches that might be muddy following heavy rain.
Bring drink/snack for mid-morning break at Hinxton church, or there is the option of having tea/coffee at The Red Lion pub nearby.
There is a very pleasant café in the community centre, for those wishing further refreshment at the end of the walk: https://cafe19.co.uk/
