This walk takes us on mainly good gravel tracks and paths in the forest around the Knightwood and Holidays Hill Inclosures. We will be on a quest to find the Knightwood Oak (the biggest in the New Forest) and the little known Eagle Oak where the last Sea Eagle in the New Forest was shot by a keeper in 1810. Goshawks also have a nest nearby.
Our trek will take us up to the Reptilery, where there are toilets and snake pits but sadly there wont be much to see there this early in the year. There are also toilets at the start of the walk in the car park.
There are no stiles.
