Our group offers walks which are accessible by public transport and take place throughout the South East of England plus a summer holiday and a New Year break
Linear to Oxted Station led by Jane R (Mobile No: 07906 987503) through gently undulating countryside largely following the Greensand Way, with a mix of pasture, arable fields and woodland and some fine escarpment views. Lunch stop at Bletchingley after 3.8 miles at ‘The Red Lion’ pub or Lamingtons Rea Room. Map: E146, L187)
Check trains the day before. Buy a day return to Edenbridge Stations (via East Croydon only, if cheaper).
NOTE: This walk has been swapped with the Kingswood circular walk because when the train times for both walks were checked on the 20th September there were no trains between London and Earlswood on the 20th October but there were this Sunday.
Earlswood Station (Thameslink train from London Bridge at 09:55, calling at East Croydon at 10:12).
