Meet 9.40 a.m. at M&S shop at Glasgow Queen Street Station to catch the 10.00 a.m. train to Edinburgh arriving Edinburgh at 10.48 a.m. Toilets at Queen Street are 50p. Free toilets at Waverley Station.
This walk will be mostly on pavements with a few grassy paths which may be muddy. Few inclines. We will walk round the Meadows, down Queens Drive to the Parliament returning via Calton Hill. The walk will finish back at Waverley Station with the option of visiting the Christmas Markets in Princes Street Gardens. Please use recognised road crossings.
