Overview

Starting off road parking in front of school (no charge) ,road section to abandoned slate and clay  Gilfach Quarry (dis.) over high bridge and fast flowing river. climb up in the direction of Pencraig-fay Quarry (dis.) to Rhydwilym  lunch stop to Clyngwyn and return to cars. part of the Landsker Borderlands Trail; ,Stunning views ,rolling country side, tracks, leafy paths in good order. yes some mud and streams to cross but on recces clean boots and dry feet.(but on the day?) Not my normal type of walk but worth doing (i.e. length and features!)
