We will begin this walk from the visitor centre car park, and of course this is a walk that is a little different from what you might be used to. If you have never walked at night time in this type of environment then you are in for a treat, your senses will be alive to the change in atmosphere compared to a day time ramble.
Conditions under foot are likely to be muddy in places, so please use gaiters if you wish, however poles will not be required. Along with your usual rambling equipment please bring a torch, although the intention would be too limit its use.
The aim of this walk is to see what wild life we might come across that would normally be hiding during daylight hours,
Eglinton country park can be reached using the No 11 bus, with the bus stop a short walk from the walk start point.
