A gentle, approx 4 mile walk from Rhayader, mostly on quiet lanes. A few sticky patches likely and we will see 🐑 sheep and hopefully red kites and lovely views up the Elan Valley and beyond.
We begin on the Wye Valley Trail, cross the Wye at the Glyn bridge (a small suspension bridge with a sway but we will take our time and cross one at a time): we then meander down lanes and cross the Wye again to take the Elan Valley Trail back to our start point.
Note: Lots of choice for pubs and cafes in Rhayader for those interested in a post walk refreshments.
