Overview

Meet in The Square, Elham. This is a circular walk via our memorial gate for Margaret and Les, Mill Down, Tan Barn, Great Shuttlesfield, North Lyminge and returning via the Elham Valley Way. There is one initial climb out of Elham. Some of the route is along quiet minor roads, the rest will be on bridleways and public footpaths. The walk starts near to the Rose and Crown bus stop in Elham, which is served by the number 17 bus between Folkestone and Canterbury - though please check times. Public toilets are available in Elham at the start and end of the walk.

We will stop along the route for a short break, so please bring your own snack and drink if you wish. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome. There may be some livestock en route and there is some road walking and a few stiles.

Refreshments available at the end of the walk in village pubs.
