We are the Bury St Edmunds Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Meet outside The Cutter Inn on the car park side. This pub is by the marina and equidistant from the railway station and Ship Lane and Forehill car parks. We will walk south by the river to Little Thetford before returning via the golf course to the city centre. After a break in the cathedral area we will head off to Queen Adelaide via the Country Park, returning by Fen Rivers Way.
Trains depart from Thetford at 9.00 and 9.21 - free parking is available in Wilkos car park near the bus station. Alternatively you can pay to use the station car park.
The train from Bury departs at 08.29 but is more expensive.
