From Empingham we’ll follow the Rutland Round to Tickencote and then Casterton. The footpath from Igthorpe takes to the edge of Ketton Quarry where we skirt the northern edge before turning north on the Macmillan Way to return to Empingham
The total ascent is 650 feet. There are six stiles on the walk on the approach to Tickencote.
Dogs are accepted on this walk, although they must be on leads at all times.
Please consider car sharing arrangements with other members to reduce the pressure on parking spots at the start of the walk.
In the event of severe weather, please contact the leader on the morning to check the walk is still on.
